Learn how you can use XRL component in Orenda Grids to enable grids having more than 50K records
Introduction
In the dynamic landscape of today's business world, large firms find themselves navigating through vast seas of data, often hindered by the constraints of conventional systems. One such challenge arises in the form of Related List views, where the standard limitations can obscure valuable insights crucial for informed decision-making. Enter Orenda Grids which can be used to view and handle more than 50K records seamlessly.
For enterprises dealing with a staggering volume of records, the default Related List views impose a strict cap, displaying only the first 2000 records. This limitation potentially hides lot of valuable insights that business can otherwise analyze and take advantage of. Even with the application of filters, the standard approach fails to provide a comprehensive view, as the resulting list remains confined to the arbitrary 2000 record threshold.
In this article, we discuss the capabilities of Orenda Grids XRL, showcasing how its customizable features can upscale Related List views and evade a restricted data display.

Step 1: On the Cases XRL view, go to configure option through Settings dropdown.
Step 2: Go to Table Settings tab in the Configuration wizard.
Step 3: In Table Settings, you will see “Load Chunk Size” option. In this option, you will enter the chunk size- which means no. of records processed or fetched by Salesforce in one iteration from database into related list.
By default, this field is empty where you need to fill in a reasonable amount of chunk size (such as 10000 or 20000 records) for Salesforce to process.
Step 4: Click on Save to modify this view or Save As to create a new view that loads more than 50K records.
Step 5: You will get the updated view consisting of more than 50K records. For instance, the Case view in Test Account is updated with 55,592 records.
