How to Delete Records in XRL-Release 3b
Learn step-by-step instructions on effectively and efficiently deleting records in XRL.
Introduction
Delete functionality in HyperGrid XRL removes the related records from the Related List view and the database.
Limitations in Salesforce Related Lists
The Salesforce Related List don't support the delete functionality for standard salesforce users. The developers and admin profiles can use this functionality. However, there is no mass delete available. Hence to delete multiple records, they have to select each of the records one by one and then delete, thus making it highly inefficient and redundant process.
In this article, we will look at how a Power User can:
- Delete records from a view
- Bulk delete records
Prerequisite XRL view is configured and a view is created on a record page. Refer to the articles below to know how XRL is added to the page view and how to create a Related List view in XRL.
